Figured this was as good of a place as any to ask if others have a true reaction to sunlight....

I rash... I am so freaking itchy right now it is driving me nutty!

I can understand that. it hurts, and you are always peeling... I feel GROSS while I am peeling all the time... like a zombie dropping chunks or something.

I rash only for the first few months, after that I burn. but been a long long time since I have been forced to go outside often/long enough to burn.

*hugs if you want them*

p.s. aloe with lidocaine is heavenly!

i've never been told by the doc I'm allergic, just assume such as I rash. fevers and throwing up... so very sorry to hear that! I guess my itching like crazy is small taters compared to that!

I'm allergic to the Sun. I was using 70+ during the Gathering, and still got blistered..sigh..but it was well worth it to be out amongst so many fine people. I can't thank everyone enough for the help that they gave..and for the memories I will cherish always. :)

Get eggs from pasture raised hens. Put the raw whites on your skin. Eat raw biodynamic butter or raw fresh unpreserved blood from pasture grazed ruminants. You might soothe your skin too by applying unpasteurized grassfed kefir to it, better yet a cold bath with it. Honey can also be helpful. My body has run most of the gamut at times from even five minute exposure. I'm never burnt anymore or get any of those things thanks to what I've learned, but I occasionally still get a headache during daylight hours even indoors with the shades drawn.

Use the raw yolks in cold fresh drinks or as a dipping sauce for sashimi or crudités, whichever you please. These yolks have the Vitamin D you are being prevented from making from the sun, that this rashing is causing. If you can tolerate and find raw tree/vine ripened citrus fruit or grassfed adrenal glands, that's the best way of getting Vitamin C to help you use the D that might be made via sunlight. For me, it works better to eat sufficient raw (yes raw) meat, to get uric acid to work as a Vitamin C-like antioxidant in my body. I tried vegan and vitamin C became more than useless for me.

Is your skin doing better?
