This was written so more out there can be knowledgeable and understanding to the truth of Vampyres and Vampyrism.

Vampyrism, Spirituality & Religion do Sometime have to Coexist

Being Vampyre is only one facet of some people out there and not all of them choice to add this to their Spiritual or Religious paths they follow. Those that are Born Vampyre do thou sometimes have to cross these lines into the realm of Spirituality and Religion when working with Energy, Magick, or even when Healing other people in need. Most practicing these types of things are not in any way Vampyre or Vampyric so don't go off thinking they all are.

a note of interest: I would like to say right now thou that some "Right Wing Religious Leaders" need a serious wake up call because if you go by the "dictionary term of Vampirism" technically speaking extorting money out of peoples pockets qualifies as an act of Vampirsm. Did you know that? Well some of those so called "Ordained Reverend Religious Nuts" getting the fat pocket books out there are doing a really good job at "Leeching" off people that haven't realized it yet. Funny the things you dig up sometimes. Yes, I think this is very much wrong but that is a whole nother topic. It just makes it much more difficult for Leaders like myself that happen to be also Ordained to get things done or help people.

The only time this choice to cross the "Coexisting" line comes into play is when that person practicing a Spiritual or Religious path just so happens to be "Born Vampyre or has a Vampyric Nature and Energy use comes into play. Those individuals (myself included) that have to or choice to cross those lines find that this is sometimes a wise choice to include their Vampyrism as part of their routine because this can and does have it's own advantages by doing so.

Those that have in some way shape, or form, (since it is a part of some) allowed it to be helpful or useful on their Spiritual and/or Religious path (in some cases, not all) have see how it can benefit not just them but also others involved. This is because of the fact that doing Magick and/or Energy work does require some energy from somewhere. Energy has to come from either that person or their surroundings for things like Magick, Healing Energy, or some Spirutual Quests to work best, so you can see why this may be advisable. I would like to add a note here since it does effect your ablility to do things like this effectively.

Those that are Vampyre or Vampyric by Nature that practice any Energy work of somekind in their Magickal, Spiritual, and/or Regilous practice should know to get a good "Feed" in before doing this type of work or you may find yourself bottoming out afterwards or "Drawing" or even "Leeching" off of others around you.

Vampyric Traditions

There are some religions out there in the present and some in the past that have had Blood Gods and/or Blood Goddesses that have included some type of Vampyric Act or aspect. Some of theses "Acts" were during "Ceremonies" of the Religious belief . Most of those are not as active in the Pagan or NonPagan community as they use to be with some exceptions. Order Stigoi vii for example is considered in some circles as a "Vampire Religion", also I would like to add some Christian Traditions and Beliefs still to this day use the "Blood of Christ", "take of my Body , take of my Blood" idea in religious practice that do actually sometimes in some cases do "Real Blood Ceremonies" or "Symbolic Blood" in their practice of their religious belief.

For example one of these traditions can be found even in the Hindu belief system , if you do your research you will see there are many more examples of this. The point I am wishing to get to is:

Vampyrism in and of itself is NOT a "Religious or Spiritual Choice or Path" it is just that sometimes some that were "Born Vampyre" "Choose" to have it also as a part of their Religious and/or Spiritual path.

Learn to know the difference it will make you more knowledgeable than some you may already know.

Do thou Bidding, SoMote it Be

Blood and even some other bodily fluids have been for many eons used by many Pagan and some NonPagan traditions to make Magickal tools or items a part of the person using them. This is sometimes done by placing a drop of blood or whatever else on the object in question to symbolically make it an extention of the one "Marking" it. Also by doing this it is thought to add a level of protection on the item or even the person carrying it.

Example: Amulets, Seals, even some jewely sometimes are turned into protective items or "Wards" in this way.

This is done because it is thought in some circles that the Magicks and/or even the Wards that each item is used for sents out or carries a "Signature" of the person that "Marked" it along with the person using it. Should any of this be considered a Vampyric aspect or act? Well technically speaking if you look at the term of Vampyrism in many dictionaries out there it may be.

Most dictionaries state:

Vampirism (pronounced Vam´pir`ism) - The actions of a vampire; the practice of bloodsucking........etc., etc.

a note of Correction for all the Dictionary Writers out there that read this:
Please make some changes to that definition so more people out there will understand that not all Vampires/Vampyres SUCK BLOOD or even fact of the matter practice EXTORTION !!!

Vampirism/Vampyrism (more technically should be defined as) Any action, act, or practice of aquiring energies and/or blood from an outside source;

Now that you see where I am going with this you can more easily see how this can in some ways be considered as a Vampyric like act of Vampyrism. I will this question for you to decide.

Conclusion

I hope this has helped define better for some out there that may or may not already know or understand how things like Vampyres and Vampyrism do sometimes have to coexist along side with Spiritual, Religious, or even with some Healing practices. This may happen either by choice of belief, choice of path, or when someone that is Born Vampyre or of a similiar Nature is required to do Energy work using Energy Manipulation in the practices they sometimes do.

Well said my Lady.
I am new to this group but not new to the Vampyre scene. My findings indicate that there are many that, at first, find the Vampire a "creature" that they associate with and embrace the lifestyle. After some time they begin to realize there is more to this than just dressing up like a Vampire and look for ways to incorporate more of the Vampire ways into their lives. Most then intigrate their chosen spiritual path with their Vampire ways. This seems to work for most but when I question them, "why don't you look at the Vampyre as a spiritual path?" they look puzzled. As I begin to explain to them what I mean something inside them clicks and it starts to make sense. The desire for people drawn to the Vampire community for a spirituality to call their own is overwhelming. I have yet to find a common spiritual path shared by the Vampire community that truly expresses the true nature and way of the Vampyre.

Yes Vampirism, Spirituality and Religion do have to co-exist. I can't understand why some Vampyre orginaztions say to be a real vampyre we can't have any religion but we can only use a Paradigm of our perferred choice to enhance our Quest for Immorality. I personally don't agree with this, as many of us do have religions that we follow. Many in the vampyre community are Pagans, Wiccans, Satanists Lucifericans, Catholics, Christians, etc. We are a mixture. Our religion & spirituality enhance who we are. Also being a Vampyre should not be about wearing black clothes, fangs, and going clubbing, not that anything is wrong with this as i have done this myself, but it should not be the " Basis " of what a Vampyre is. These are just " lifestylers " or what we call here " Gaja ". Being a vampyre is made in our Soul, which is a basic part of Spiritualism. For if one does not have Spirituality and Religion, to me its like being in an empty shell. Vampyrism is Spiritual, and for many Religious as well.
