Vampyrism, emotional vampirism, and turning?

Turning is brought up in groups often as well as people asking if Vampyrism can be learned and taught. So that got me thinking. I think some people could learn to act as a Vampyr as Wytches often manipulate energy all the time and normal humans could learn to take energy from people (as I don't believe most proclaimed “emotional vampires” are true vampires but emotional people who drain people either by accident or on purpose usually are not (this doesn't make them real Vampyres.)

Life Force Givers or those who have had too much energy taken from them could THINK that they could have been turned into a Vampyr. They may even have symptoms of Vampyrism but this is only temporary. Once they get the energy back they will be fine. None of this makes anyone a Vampyr of course. Vampyres, as most in the Community should know, are born and not created. Of course, some people may awaken late and the taking of their energy or blood may hasten their Awakening. Some believe a Vampyres genes or will power (as the gods we are) could however cause one to become a Vampyr especially if the feed on the person enough. That MAY be possible if they are strong enough and the person wants it enough.

Permalink Reply by Founding Father J P ChrstVampyr on November 5, 2009 at 2:20pm: I have been studying a lot about spiritual Evolution and allthough humans do not normally need the energy if they are just human there are many religions that show us how to evolve into gods but that takes many life times and taking from your donor may trigger there awakening if they are a Vampyr. No you cannot become a vampyr by drinking a Vampyres blood after being almost completely drained of yours; that will just land you in the hospital and maybe kill you. Though you may be able to Spiritual Evolve into a Vampyr but that is a long and complicated process that require learening how to take energy from higher sources but it usually takes a very long time and most cannot do it...; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Kalinda on November 14, 2009 at 10:04pm: I am guilty of sometimes draining people..but not on purpose. I am just psychic. I have experienced clairaudiance and confusing telepathy. The way I pierce into people scares even myself, I hate projecting things....I'm learning to channel that better. I would like to understand it more. This community is very open and I enjoy reading about people's experiences though. Though I'm pretty sure I am not a vampire. I'm not positively sure....that's another reason why I'm here. What's hard is when I sense people's pain I can feel it. I am probably a natural empath, I just have to block it off often because life is so stressful or sometimes-- it's just dead...the energy...completely gone. I used to flush up around people and would notice my skin heat up and I was so highly energized. This probably caused problems for me in the long run. I would like to explain this, I think to me it's more of a natural drawing in of psychic elements or energies...like soaking up the sun or the rain.

I do it all the time and have only recently realized that I never realized it wasnt natural to others...though I have had a few instances of being around someone and suddenly being immersed in energy while my eyes were closed, tingling sensations, like I was being drugged. I don't know if that is similar or not but then later I would get stressed out. I've attempted drawing energy...during a period when I thought i was being awakened I consciously shut off the process because I got extremely overwhelmed.... now it's not like energy for fatigue it's more like energy that just flows...which makes me think more psychic. Sorry for going off on a tangent there. I sometimes doubt my sanity about the whole thing....; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Val on December 2, 2009 at 6:33am: I also don't believe someone can be turned. I have had some ask me to turn them living on the delusion of what hollywood protrays us to be. I tell them no this can't be done only to have them call me a fake and take a tanrum like teletubbies on crack ( had to make a pun here Laughs) It is very annoying and often frustrating that they don't understand and think it is all Golry, glitter and fun.
I am born the way I am I wasn't created from some super natural human being. I grew up withdrawn to myself. I found it difficult to keep friends for very long and eventualy just given up on that. I always been pyschic and would often tell who was on the phone that was calling before my mother picked and often I didn't know who they were. I also could do thing out of pure will and thought to some extent and as I grew older I found that magics come very easy to me I know things that I have carried over from previous life times or as I say it Time frames, to me it is on conitual life just differant aspect of it. Only my flesh dies each time frame. I also always been drawn to spirits and cemetary always felt connected and at home there. It isn't always easy being Vampir there has been times when I haven't fed and been really sick, to weak to move and pain especaily during my my teen years when there wasn't a whole lot out there about Vampirs or a community to give support and understanding. I learned the hard way who I am and how to deal with it.
If humans truely know what it really is like and could have a choice I don't think they will choose the path we are thrown into. I am sure many of us have wished we were like humans living the simple life and enjoying what they do but like myself given up a long time ago and learned how to truely love who and what we are.; ▶ Reply to This

I grew up in the era of Anne Rice. Her books were all the rage and of course I was a good little goth girl dreaming of some mysterious vampire who of course would be ridiculously good looking, swooping into my room at night and whisking me away to "turn me" and me be his forever more. I agree with what you said, for me something was lacking in my young life, I had a tumultuous childhood, etc etc the whole song and dance. I wanted to be something or someone else, and more importantly I didn't want to have to look at "me" and have to make any changes. I wanted to be loved and accepted in a world where I never really felt I quite fit or had a place.
Well fast forward lots of years, I'm in my 30's now, and still don't fit in the world but I don't care about that so much anymore, what became very clear to me is that the glaring problem was that I wasn't comfortable in my own skin. When I addressed that issue, I could have lived on Saturn for all I cared, alone or with robots it didn't matter, I was ok with me, it came down to that. The fantasy of a vampire coming to take me away faded, and though I still watch the occasional vamp flick with the step kids (they are now into it) and they talk about how "cool it would be to be a vampire" I ask them why? They have all these answers, and I realize they missed what I missed. See all I saw was the glamor of it. But there was this other side for the movie vampires that few people like the younger me ever picked up on, the killing part, the loner part, and the idea that the dog gonned Vampire almost always ended having to die. That is until Twilight, we'll see about that......
Today, though I do not claim to be any sort of vampire at all, I am an empath, a new one I admit it, and new to blocking and grounding, so to keep me and others safe (I don't wanna randomly cuss someone out when I get over loaded in public) or of course faint or something or break out in sobs , I stay to myself at home and avoid crowds etc. Anyway, I guess one could say I've grown up a little. I just hope My little talks with the step kids have helped them understand that it's not a game, it's not a fantasy, and if they want to search for anything, they should search for themselves.

I think alot of the people who are asking to be turned are suffering from a lack of "personal power" in their lives. They want the "gift" so that they have an excuse to set free, to abandon Societal "okays" and "free the Beast" ..lol..

It's not all bad. If we in turn: educate them, give them a sense of belonging, counsel them in regards to their own "personal power", it's often amazing the: strong, talented, and often quite charming..individuals we uncover.

Many of us during our own Awakenings were not aware of "all that we could be." (Please forgive me, it was too tempting, had to use it.) As we grew and learned, oftentimes through a combination of experience and our interactions with others just like us..we came to understand many things we had not known before.

Treat your interactions with such persons as awakening them to the truth about us, and sit back and watch what happens. You might be quite surprised. It's a beautiful thing, the unfolding of an open mind. :); ▶ Reply to This

What most people dont understand is that Vampyres can actually take away the anxiety and negative emotions of the people they can feed on and do them good as it can be our part of the balance of life. Some would say its not healthy for us to do but many know about reiki and how to convert the emotions or anergies into posative even though some do not...; ▶ Reply to This
